Responsibility

Som lift Technology plc, the lift supplying, installing and repairing company in Somalia & Somaliland, was founded by Mr. Abdalfatah M.Hassan.

It took Mr. Abdalfatah M.Hassan. Four years before he could supply the first 3 lifts in Somaliland. Meanwhile, he visited lift companies in European and Asian countries, as collected documents on lift for future reference, arranged training programs locally as well as overseas, invited foreign technical professionals to provided training to Somalia Engineers and established a Department in Nadiya Co. Trading devoted solely to lift technology.

The mission of this department, named “Lift Technology Department” was to:

• Operate as an agent of a reputed foreign lift manufacturer/supplier.
• Import knocked-wall known lifts to create a training opportunity
• Importing some essential components to repair lifts of Different brands in Somali & Somaliland.

Establishment of Somlift Technology Plc.

After completing its incubation period under Nadiya Co. Trading, the “Lift Technology Department” was transformed to “SomLift Technology Plc.” and established as a legal entity under the Commercial Code of Somalia in 2018. The company was established with a capital of USD 100,000.00. The Somlift office is located at 26th June Freedom garden Hargeisa,Somaliland & Somalia maka mukarama Road Mogadishu, Somalia
